In the middle of an emergency, it’s too late to wish your horse could remain confident being tied; it needs to start now in its everyday routine.
Is your horse’s body/barn sour?
Can your horse remain calm when tied? Or does he move around nonstop?
How does it go with deworming? Is it just a normal day, or are you crossing your fingers, hoping not to get hurt?
What is the reaction to being shaved? Did the sound of the clipper give him anxiety?
Those are typical examples of things that all horses should perform well to be good members of society. However, for most horses, those are not gifted by design; they need to be trained into your horse so that when the time comes, your horse will remain calm and confident.
Joined me for an interactive 2hrs workshop, where I will walk you through the process of creating a calm, confident horse using positive reinforcement.
When? Saturday, April 18 @ 1h30 PM
Participation Fee: 40$
This workshop his also part of the #SAVETHEFARRIER – Special offer for any client of Smartinup hoof trimming services.
